One of the most frequently asked questions among Throne and Liberty beginners is: how can I exchange items with other players? Can my friend who plays the game all day long give me things as gifts when I get home tired from work to log in 15 minutes before falling asleep in front of the screen? Can I stand in some city and beg for help from strangers? The answer will not surprise you.
Trade items in Throne and Liberty
You cannot exchange items person to person in Throne and Liberty. You cannot give an item as a gift, nor exchange it for another item with another player, nor sell it for in-game money, and therefore not for real money either. And that is the essence of the matter. When you allow direct exchanges between players you open the door to goldsellers and the economy goes to hell.
What you can do is to sell and buy in the Marketplace. Access the Marketplace from the game menu, in the Item section select the Auction House option, you need to be at least level 15. There you will be able to see all the items for sale, filter them to find what you are looking for at the best price and manage your own sales.
