Launch Prep for Throne and Liberty: Early Access, Full Launch Servers, and Free Transfers

With Throne and Liberty‘s early access and official launch just around the corner, many player communities and guilds are eagerly planning their arrival in Solisium. To help players prepare, Digital Extremes has shared crucial details about server structure, launch dates, and server transfer options—ensuring a smooth start for everyone, whether they’re jumping in during early access or at the full launch.

Early Access and Full Launch Servers: What to Expect

Early access servers will open on September 26 at 10 AM PST (5 PM UTC), providing early access pack holders a head start before the full launch on October 1 at 10 AM PST (5 PM UTC). These early access servers will run alongside the full launch servers, with some special rules in place to ensure fairness between early access and non-early access players.

On October 1, players who didn’t purchase an early access pack will still have the option to create characters on early access servers, provided there’s space. This allows friends to play together, even if they’re joining later. Digital Extremes has also confirmed that transfers between early access and full launch servers will be available, making it easier for players to find their perfect server home.

Importantly, the early access servers will be temporarily restricted from transferring characters to full launch servers. However, players on full launch servers will be able to transfer to either early access or other full launch servers. This transfer restriction on early access servers will be lifted at a later date, with the timeline based on player feedback and population data. The goal is to balance server populations while ensuring players can enjoy the game alongside their friends.

Free Server Transfers: Limited-Time Offer

To help ease the hectic nature of launch days, Throne and Liberty will offer players two free server transfer tickets per day from September 26 through October 17. These tickets allow players to transfer to eligible servers, helping them join friends, avoid long queues, or simply explore new communities. However, these free transfer tickets expire 24 hours after being claimed, and if a server reaches its population cap after you transfer, there’s no guarantee you can return.

Once the free transfer period ends on October 17, server transfer tickets will be available for purchase using the in-game currency Lucent, with a 30-day cooldown between transfers.

Managing Population Caps: What to Know

To maintain server stability during the early access and full launch phases, Throne and Liberty will enforce population caps on both early access and full launch servers. Servers that hit their maximum capacity will have queues, and character creation on high-population servers may be temporarily disabled. Players will still be able to log in with existing characters on locked servers, but no new characters will be allowed until the cap is lowered. Players are encouraged to use their free transfers to move to less populated servers if needed.

Server List: Planning Ahead with Your Community

  • North America (NA) East
  • North America (NA) West
  • South America (SA) East
  • Europe (EU) Central
  • Asia Pacific (AP) Northeast (Tokyo)

To help guilds and friends coordinate, Digital Extremes has released the list of server names ahead of time. Each region will have at least two servers at launch, with more servers ready to be opened as demand grows. There will also be PlayStation-only servers for console players. Servers will be available across five regions: North America (East and West), South America (East), Europe (Central), and Asia Pacific (Northeast Tokyo).

This thoughtful planning from Digital Extremes ensures that the Throne and Liberty launch will be as smooth as possible, offering players the chance to seamlessly jump into the world of Solisium—whether they’re starting on day one or waiting until full launch.
