Tevent Archboss Guide – Throne and Liberty

Welcome to the Tevent Archboss guide in Throne & Liberty. Tevent is one of the game’s Archbosses, a special class of exceptionally powerful public world bosses, designed for large-scale player battles. These Archbosses spawn only once a week, so check the in-game event calendar to see when the next one will appear.

Defeating Archbosses grants special rewards, including epic weapons or unique crafting materials. Tevent’s event is a Conflict Event, meaning it is PvP-enabled, and hostile guilds are likely to be present. This can turn the event into a chaotic battle, as players fight each other and the boss simultaneously.

This guide will explain the mechanics of the Tevent boss fight and provide tips for succeeding.

Where to Find Tevent in Throne & Liberty

Tevent spawns at Tevent Temple, located northwest of the Ruins of Turayne. The recommended minimum level for this area and boss is 50.
To get the exact spawn time for Tevent based on your time zone, check the event calendar in the game. Here, you can also view dates and times for other upcoming events.

Preparing for the Tevent Archboss Fight

To improve your chances of success, here are some essential items and preparations to make before facing Tevent:

  • Potions: Bring plenty of health and mana potions to sustain yourself during the intense fight, as the event can last up to 30 minutes due to the boss’s strength and possible PvP encounters.
  • Buff Food: It’s strongly recommended to bring Rare-quality buff food. Here are some effective options:
    • Rare Quorba Sandwich: Increases your damage against the boss.
    • Rare Rotein Muffin: Boosts your damage against other players.
    • Rare Salted Jerky: Improves your defense, useful for both PvE and PvP scenarios.

Tevent’s Mechanics and Attacks

Here are the primary abilities and attacks Tevent uses during the fight:

Tevent creates thick purple lines from the center to the edges of the arena. After a few seconds, bones will erupt from these areas, heavily damaging anyone standing on them. These purple zones can be hard to see if many players are around, so stay alert.

Tevent performs a wide swipe, indicated by a purple marker. This Fury Attack needs to be blocked; failing to do so will result in significant damage. Tevent may perform this move twice in a row.

Tevent will call out before charging in a random direction. Any player caught in the path will be instantly killed. This charge can sometimes be followed immediately by another.

After charging, Tevent jumps back to the center of the arena, creating a powerful impact that damages and knocks back players on the middle platform. If your health is low, consider moving off the platform temporarily to avoid being killed by this attack.

Tevent releases shards of magical energy in all directions. One shard may not cause severe damage, but getting hit by multiple can be fatal.

Tevent’s Soul Fragment is a rare crafting material dropped by Tevent. Archbosses like Tevent only spawn once per week, with events alternating between Peace (PvE) and Conflict (PvP) modes. Check the Event Schedule tab on the map to confirm the spawn mode on your server.

Using Tevent’s Soul Fragment

Tevent’s Soul Fragment can be used to craft epic weapons at either a Weapons Crafter or Senior Weapons Crafter (depending on weapon rarity). Here are some weapon recipes that require Tevent’s Soul Fragment:

Tevent’s Fangs of Fury

Tevent’s Warblade of Despair

Tevent’s Arc of Wailing Death

Tevent’s Grasp of Withering
