The South Korean version of the MMORPG Throne and Liberty has received a major update, introducing the Weapon Mastery system. This new feature significantly enhances combat diversity, allowing players to create competitive builds for various scenarios.
Although Amazon Games has yet to announce its addition to the global version, the system is expected to arrive on January 16.
Key Features of Weapon Mastery
- Extended Levels: Weapons can now be upgraded to level 200, unlocking 200 points to customize their skill tree.
- Interconnected branches: Skills are organized in a tree structure with nodes that can be unlocked using resources like Hunting Gold and precious stones (Rubrix, Emeret, Marind, and Stalon).
- Free Respec: Points can be reassigned at any time without cost.
- Progressive Bonuses: Unlocked nodes provide attribute boosts and passive effects called Class Synergies. Advanced nodes offer greater benefits.
- Cross-Weapon Compatibility: Mastery levels can be transferred across weapon types, encouraging players to explore various combinations.
- Unlockable Skills: Additional skills become available at 130/260/390/520 specialization points, offering even more customization options.
Additional Features and Improvements
- Side Story Codex: This system compiles narratives about NPCs, events, and dungeons, enhancing the game’s world-building and immersion.
- Group Rewards: The PvP-exclusive chest from Saurodoma Island now rewards the entire group and appears in two additional dungeons: Crimson Mansion and Shadowed Crypt.
- World Boss Contribution: A long-requested feature now displays players’ contributions during PvP world boss battles.
- Interface and Balancing: The update also brings UI improvements, combat skill adjustments, and minor bug fixes.
