Throne and Liberty Fishing Guide
How To Get Bait: Paste Bait
This is the most common bait in Throne and Liberty. You can fish with it, but it won’t help you catch rare fish like the other baits will.
Every day, you can buy 1 Fishing Bait Chest from the Contract Coin Merchant for 20 Contract Coins. This Chest contains 50 Paste Baits. Not bad, but you can only buy 1 per day.
You can also get the same chest for 15 Ornate Coins. I don’t think this is the best use of your Ornate Coins, but it is a possibility.
How To Get Bait: Worm Bait
Worm Bait will particularly attract medium-sized fish such as Amberjack, Lanquis Barracuda, Taion Moray Eel.
Get Worm Bait from the Star Trees and Star Fruit Trees that you will find in different areas of Solisium. You can see the locations of Star Trees and Star Fruit Trees in the Interactive Map.
How To Get Bait: Shrimp Bait
Shrimp Bait will particularly attract small-sized fish such as Arowana, Banded Butterflyfish, Ballan Wrasse
To get Shrimp Bait you will have to kill enemies in Windhill Shores and Daybreak Shore. Hermit Lobster, Megalobster, Chestacean, Large Stone Crab, Sea Crab, Hermit Crab and Iron Chestacean have a small chance to drop Shrimp Bait. So do not expect to get Shrimp Bait every time you loot one of this mobs, have some patience and keep farming them. Check out the mobs locations in Throne and Liberty Interactive Map.
How To Get Bait: Fish Fillet Bait
Fish Fillet Bait will particularly attract large-sized fish such as Solisium Carp, Barracuda, Blacktail Snook.
Obtain Fish Fillet Bait dissolving the fish you have in your inventory, you will also get Uncommon Fish Oil in the process.
