As in many other games, in Throne and Liberty there is a day and night cycle, and it is not just a change of lighting. Let’s see in this short guide how the Day and Night cycle works in Throne and Liberty and what are the changes it produces in the game.
How the Day/Night Cycle Works
The Day and Night cycle in Throne and Liberty works like this, 4 hours of day and 1 hour of night (real hours). You can see in-game what time it is, just open the map and look in the bottom left corner. There you can see if it is day or night and how long until the cycle changes.
One more thing that can alter the day and night cycle is the Transcending Power: Eclipse. Transcending Powers are acquired by players who are at the top of the Growth, Activity or Kill Rankings.
A single player in the whole server can use Transcending Power: Eclipse, a skill that will create an eclipse, turning day into night for 10 minutes. This skill has a cooldown of 12 hours.
Differences between day and night in Throne and Liberty
The change of day and night is not only aesthetic in Throne and Liberty. As in many other Mmos, certain enemies will become more aggressive during the night. Be careful also with the Dungeons, some of them become PVP zone during the night.
There are NPCs that only appear during the day, others during the night, you will have to take this into account to complete quests, for example. And finally, some active and passive skills have different effects depending on the time of day.
