In September 2025, Throne and Liberty will receive one of its most ambitious updates to date, featuring new content and comprehensive revisions to its existing mechanics. During the “Summer in Cissium” event, development leads Tiko and Tico revealed the main features set to arrive in the MMORPG from FirstSpark Games and Amazon Games.

Orb: a unique support weapon
Joining the roster of ranged weapons is the new Orb, designed both to heal allies and provide preemptive damage mitigation. Unlike other weapons, it does not rely solely on mana: players will also need to manage the orbs themselves to unlock their full defensive potential.

Lifestyle “Field to Floor”: gathering and crafting
The gathering system will gain level-based progression, new materials, and the addition of the handicrafting profession, allowing you to craft furniture and decorative items. Under the banner “Field to Floor”, you’ll be able to go from the field—gathering resources—to your floor—decorating your home—in a more complete and rewarding cycle.

Customizable housing and introductory narrative
For the first time, players will be able to acquire and personalize their own houses. This feature unlocks through a narrative questline that guides both veterans and newcomers. Plus, there’s no limit to how many homes you can own—you’ll be able to hold multiple properties across Cissium.

Massive 24 × 24 battles in Battlegrounds
The new Battlegrounds mode brings 24 v 24 combat, available for solo queue or parties of up to six. Reward details are still under wraps, but they’re expected to significantly boost participant progression.
Hyperboost: rapid progression servers
For those who want to level up fast, a dedicated Hyperboost server will launch for new characters, and the feature will also roll out on existing servers—so you never fall behind your friends.

Expanded achievement system
An all-new achievement system will span every corner of Cissium, including classic content. Each achievement offers rewards—from cosmetics to valuable resources—and encourages replayability.

Redesign of Dimensional Trials
Dimensional Trials will drop seasonal cycles in favor of weekly leaderboards, featuring higher-value rewards and dynamic affixes that can benefit or challenge players based on their build, creating a more varied and engaging endgame.
Artifact UI improvements
The revamped Artifact UI will let you filter by stats and sets, streamlining the process of sorting through hundreds of pieces to find only the best.
