Chief Orc Gatekeeper Strategy

The first level of Taedal’s Tower is not particularly difficult to pass if you have the right stats. Just pay attention to the most dangerous abilities of the boss and you won’t have any problems.

Charge

As we can guess from the name of the first floor of Taedal’s Tower, Chief Orc Gatekeeper boss has a charging ability. If you pay attention you will have a small window of time to avoid it. Chief Orc Gatekeeper will stay still for a moment and will turn yellow and orange before charging, you just have to make sure you are not in front of it to avoid the attack. Move quickly to the sides as he will make a long charge forward.

This attack can be repeated up to three times in a row, be careful!

Hook

If you keep a long range from Chief Orc Gatekeeper, he will sometimes throw a hook at you to pull you in. The boss will remain still for a moment and throw his shield back and immediatelly throw the hook at you. Your best chance is to block it or quickly dash away to avoid it.

Ground Hit

Chief Orc Gatekeeper hits the ground causing damage in a straight line forward, then he turns 45° and hits the ground once again. The will boss raise the mace above his head before performing the attack. You can easily evade the attack by moving to the sides of the boss.
