THRONE AND LIBERTY Update 1.3.0: New Matchmaking and Changes to Server Transfers

The downtime for THRONE AND LIBERTY Update 1.3.0 will start at 10:30 PM PT (5:30 AM UTC) on October 16, with an expected duration of around 6 hours. Players can now collaborate to tackle randomized dungeons through the newly introduced matchmaking feature. Additionally, the update addresses various bug fixes related to localization, UI, and more, aiming to deliver a smoother experience in Solisium. Below are the detailed release notes categorized by platform.

Note: A change regarding loot has been removed from this article and will be included in the upcoming weekly update.

All Platforms

General

Character deletion time is now set to 24 hours after starting the process.
Server transfer cooldowns will now be shown in the Server Transfer window.
Server transfer cooldowns have increased to 30 days, and the free Server Transfer ticket promotion has ended.

Gameplay

  • Dynamic Events: Rewards have been improved for all Dynamic Event modes, better reflecting the effort players invest.
  • Guilds: Guild Contracts that require hunting multiple monsters can now only be started once per day. If completion carries over into a new day, a new contract becomes available immediately.
  • Guilds: When a leader leaves, leadership will now be reassigned based on guild rank, contribution, and membership duration.
  • Quests: The map indicators for “The Terrific Trio of Carmine Forest” quest have been corrected.
  • Arena: Players are no longer able to rejoin completed Arena matches.
  • Crafting: Materials for Rare Blank Lithograph recipes have been adjusted, and they now use ‘Enchanted Ink’ as a material (previously differentiated between Epic and Precious Enchanted Ink).
  • Fishing: Improved hook animations while fishing.
  • Customization: Certain character customization options were tweaked to ensure proper positioning of eyes behind eyelids.
  • Tutorial: Fixed an issue where logging out during the morph section could block progress.

Dungeons

  • A new matchmaking system now allows players to join randomized dungeons from available options, easing group formation. Previously, only specific dungeons could be queued for.
  • Increased the bonus HP and Damage buff for matchmaking dungeon groups from 5% to 10%.
  • Adjusted matchmaking logic to more consistently form groups of similar power levels.
  • Players can no longer be kicked during boss fights.

Localization

  • Fixed tooltip errors for the Crossbow’s ‘Quick Fire: Damage Increase’ skill and the Staff’s ‘Mana Amp’ passive ability.
  • Updated descriptions for ‘Precious Skill Growth’ books to clarify their function.
  • Corrected misleading information for the Wand’s ‘Decaying Touch’ skill.
  • Applied the latest localization updates, including fixes for untranslated strings.

UI

  • Various UI improvements across Guild Contracts, Party Board, and Arena interfaces.
  • Moderation warnings no longer persist after acknowledgment.
  • Added new buttons to check name availability when creating or modifying characters.

Controls

  • Fishing mode will no longer be interrupted by pressing the B key.
  • Fixed issues with abilities being triggered even after button press cancellation.

PC-Specific Fixes

  • File uploads in character customization and support requests have been temporarily disabled.

Console-Specific (Xbox Series X|S and PS5)

  • New settings to manage the display of combat visual effects (VFX) for characters on-screen.
  • Fixed issues with the QR code popup not closing properly.
  • Enhanced texture quality for tutorials.
  • PS5-only servers now ensure that matchmaking is only with players on PS5 servers.
