Throne and Liberty Beginners Guide: Classes & Weapons

So, you want to start playing Throne and Liberty? One of the first things you think about is “Which class will I use”? Well we got started off on the wrong foot. In Throne and Liberty there is no classic class system, classes are based on the weapons you choose to use. This system allows you to choose two weapons from the seven currently available and create your own build.

Throne and Liberty – Weapons & Skills

In Throne and Liberty there are 7 different weapons available, each with their own active and passive skills that you can choose from and improve to create your own build. This gives you a good degree of freedom and the possibility to have a truly unique character that fits your gameplay.

  • Sword and Shield
  • Greatsword
  • Daggers
  • Crossbow
  • Longbow
  • Staff
  • Wand and Tome

All combinations are possible and have a smooth performance, so if you want to try that weird wizard-dagger you’ve always dreamed of, go nuts, nothing’s stopping you.

Throne and Liberty – Weapon Swapping

Once you have your two weapons equipped, you just need to select which one is the main weapon from the character window and that’s it, you don’t need to actively switch weapons to use the different skills.

Simply use the skill you want from your hotbar and your character will automatically switch weapons. Want to try another combination? You can do that too, just equip the weapons you want to use and you’re done.
