Throne and Liberty: How to Unlock Saurodoma Island Waypoint

Saurodoma Island is not so far from the mainland, but getting there is not so simple. In this guide we explain how to get to Saurodoma Island and unlock the Waypoint.

How to Reach Saurodoma Island

Maybe you look at the map and think, I can swim there. And my friend, you are quite right, you can just swim to Saurodoma Island, but what you can’t do that way is to activate the Waypoint.

The only way to unlock Saurodoma Island Waypoint is with the Gigantrite, that giant whale that flies the skies of Solisium. Yes, to get to Saurodoma Island you have to get on the flying whale. This is getting fun, isn’t it?

Gigantrite appears every three hours and can take three different routes, but it doesn’t matter, they all fly over Saurodoma Island. For more details on how to board Gigantrite, please refer to our Gigantrite guide.

Once on top of Gigantrite wait for it to approach Sauroma Island and unlock the Waypoint. If you do so, you will be able to use fast travel to reach the island quickly.

How to Unlock Saurodoma Island Waypoint

It is not so simple to activate the Saurodoma Island Waypoint. It’s not necessarily difficult either, but it has its trick. When Gigantrite approaches Saurodoma Island position yourself on the front tusk, be very careful not to fall off! From there you will see an elevated plain, which is impossible to access any other way.

When you are close enough, jump and glide to the Waypoint you will find at the top. Activate the Waypoint so you can use Fast Travel and never have to do this again.
