Throne & Liberty’s first official livestream was held on Friday, December 22nd. The developers spoke directly to the audience about the game’s issues and new content coming to Throne and Liberty.
Bugs & Server Instability
One of the first topics that was discussed was server instability and the multiple bugs that appeared after the launch. About this they assured that from now on the information about the bugs will be shared with the players first, and they will announce the fix when it is done. Their goal is fast communication, an example of this is that from now on they will publish the patch notes one day before its implementation.
Foreigners accounts, Bots & Bans
The presence of players from outside Korea did not go unnoticed. The developers spoke on the subject of foreign players and bots. Recently there was a massive ban on accounts discovered using bots, and many of us wondered what will happen to foreign accounts.
Addressing this, developers confirmed that they are aware of the large number of foreign players, but they are not planning to ban them at the moment, the only bans will be for accounts using bots or exploits. Good news indeed, but we still recommend caution and vpn usage, as policies may change at any time.
January Updates
They also shared some details about what will be coming to Throne and Liberty in January 2024. The system that allows you to transfer skill growth and quick slot presets will be included in the January update. Greatswords and Staffs balance will be included in January update too. The Greatsword has a lot of effects, which makes them less effective in boss fights, and they also acknowledged the bug where Devastating Tornado is interrupted. Staff is not as good as it could be in a single/area, so its damage will be rebuffed. Judgment Lightning single-deal and Serial Fire Bombs AoE damage will be buffed.

- Classes will continue to be balanced, aiming to make each class equally useful
- Weapon swapping process update to make it faster and less costly on January 3.
- Dungeon weapon rewards will be given through an universal box, so you can choose the weapon you wish instead of having to run through different dungeons to get the necessary equipment.
- Cross-server matchmaking for dungeons will be enable in the future.
- They are working on changes to the contribution system for Dungeons and World Bosses.
- Two new events and three World Bosses will appear by the end of the month. In January there will be three more events, five Bosses and two Archbosses.
- The first siege will take place on Saturday, February 3rd at 9 PM (Korean time). The guild that ranks first will be awarded the prize.
- There will be a server merge in the future.
Right now the developers are working on improving the user interface, camera operation, time of day system, game optimization, new content and guild bosses.
