Skill Specialization System
Improvements to the system were introduced, starting with the skill specialization. This new system allows the use of specialization points to add characteristics to skills or even change them entirely. For example, a skill can become more convenient by removing its casting time or transform into a new skill with different effects.
Specialization points increase automatically as players level up, with a maximum of 100 points available at level 50. This system will enable players to create diverse skill configurations according to their preferences. Additionally, weapon balance adjustments will be made based on collected data.
Changes in Cooperative Dungeons and the New Rune System in Throne and Liberty
Restructured Cooperative Dungeons: The cooperative dungeons in Throne and Liberty have been restructured into a total of 30 difficulty levels, allowing players to gradually obtain items. The general difficulty level has been significantly reduced compared to the previous version, enabling even a group of six non-expert players to successfully complete the dungeons.
Dimensional Challenge: The Dimensional Challenge is introduced as an advanced farming location, where players must tackle dungeons with random dimensional interference effects. As levels increase, not only do the enemies’ strength and endurance grow, but new, unseen patterns are also added, offering a refreshed and challenging gameplay experience.
New Rune System: One of the key rewards in the Dimensional Challenge is the new growth element called Runes. To equip a rune, players must use a rune hammer, obtained by dismantling runes, to unlock the corresponding sockets. Sockets are classified into three shapes: triangle, square, and diamond. Equipping runes in the corresponding sockets increases attack, defense, and support stats, respectively.
Rune Development: Runes develop by accumulating the same stats repeatedly, allowing players who farm consistently to reach higher-grade runes. Moreover, runes not only provide benefits when equipped but also grant additional synergy effects based on the combinations of runes used. Even less experienced players can farm high-level runes by completing the first 11 levels of the challenge, as these levels are significantly more accessible than previous challenge levels.
This new system of dungeons and runes not only enhances gameplay and player engagement but also promotes cooperation and strategy within the Throne and Liberty community.
Improvements in Field Hunting and Item Value in Throne and Liberty
Field hunting in Throne and Liberty has been updated with a focus on two key aspects: enhancing the enjoyment of farming and maintaining the value of items in the market. By spending Abyss Points, the item drop rate is significantly increased, and this rate also increases in proportion to the number of party members. To further enhance the farming experience, plans are in place to expand the sources for acquiring Abyss Points. Additionally, the item acquisition rule will change to a first-hit priority mode, applicable to all monsters except field bosses and arc bosses.
Several changes will be implemented to maintain the value of items in the market. Items obtained in the field and field dungeons will drop in a bound state, meaning they cannot be traded directly. However, using the “Replica” system, complete items can be converted into blueprints that can be traded between players. Extraction materials, which were previously used to bestow characteristics on items, will now be obtained exclusively through gameplay, thereby limiting their supply.
Moreover, luck rewards will be added for field bosses and arc bosses in peaceful zones, providing the chance to obtain powerful equipment even with low contribution in battle. This update ensures that players enjoy the farming process more and that the trade of items remains valuable and balanced within the game.
Life Skills in Throne and Liberty
In the recent meeting, the new life skills content was detailed. Fishing is an activity that allows players to obtain ingredients for cooking. The quality of bait and the type of fishing rod determine the types of fish that can be caught. Cooking involves combining various ingredients to create dishes that provide different enhancement effects. As culinary skills increase, it will be possible to share meals with party members, offering significant advantages in various activities.
The Amistoy Expedition allows players to send their Amistoy to different regions to collect desired items. The life elements added in the emergency update are based on this concept, and future additions have been announced, such as fishing competitions, a fish compendium, secret cooking recipes, and the option to share dishes within the guild.
New Talandre Update in Throne and Liberty
The August update for Throne and Liberty introduces a thrilling new territory called Talandre, a key element of the emergency update. This region is characterized by its mountains and canyons, offering a variety of transportation methods to navigate between hunting grounds. Additionally, a water current system will be introduced, allowing for rapid movements and innovative strategies in conquest battles.
In Talandre, four new field bosses and two arch bosses will be added, each dropping second-tier hero equipment. These bosses will feature unique and challenging attack patterns, ensuring an exciting experience for players. The bosses will become available according to a specific schedule, with reduced intervals between each appearance.
Players will also be able to obtain second-tier hero equipment in Talandre’s field dungeons, such as the Temple of Truth, Verkandt Mansion, and Crimson Mansion. Additionally, new cooperative dungeons will be introduced, offering second-tier hero accessories, allowing players to complete their gear sets. These cooperative dungeons will start opening in stages beginning August 24th, with two-week intervals between each opening.
The live broadcast also marked the start of the pre-registration. Players who register on the official website will receive a Talandre Growth Support Package and the speed transformation ‘Brown Lumicora.’ Those who register for the Purple pre-registration starting July 24th will receive a Talandre Adventure Support Package and the Amistoy ‘Hokie.’ Following the July 24th update, several events will be launched, including dimension challenge strategies, life content gameplay, and various activities for new and returning players, as well as those playing in internet cafes.
