Ahzreil Boss Overview

Ahzreil is a powerful Level 50 boss with high-damage attacks, requiring precision and coordination to defeat. Here’s where you can encounter him:

  • Open World: Find Ahzreil at the Shattered Temple in the open world.
  • Guild Hall: Guilds that reach level 17 or higher can summon Ahzreil directly in their Guild Hall.

In the following sections, we’ll break down his attack patterns and provide essential tips to handle each one effectively.

Where to find Ahzreil

To find Ahzreil’s spawn point, head northwest and cross the bridge from the Shattered Temple Waypoint. You can also use the grappling hooks on the southwest wall of the Ruins or fly from the hills northwest of Aelon’s Sanctuary to reach the Light Sanctum Ruins.

Ahzreil Boss Mechanics in Throne & Liberty

Ahzreil has fewer mechanics than other bosses in Throne & Liberty, but each attack is extremely powerful, making it crucial to learn his moves and how to avoid them. Below are the primary mechanics and attacks you’ll encounter:

Ahzreil launches a narrow line of fire directly ahead. Sidestep quickly to avoid the attack, as it deals heavy damage if it connects. Keep an eye on his movement to anticipate this fiery onslaught.

Ahzreil summons meteors, with blue markers appearing on the ground where they’re about to land. Avoid standing in these areas to escape significant damage. Watch the ground closely to stay alert!

Ahzreil’s Fury Attack is one of the most challenging moves to counter. He launches a projectile toward each player in the raid, which must be blocked with precise timing. Look for the purple Fury Attack indicator on Ahzreil to prepare for this. Missing the block will result in heavy damage, so stay vigilant!

At intervals, three Fire Totems appear around the arena, and Ahzreil begins to pull players towards the center. Three players will receive a fire orb above their heads, which they must carry to each totem to destroy it. If all totems are not destroyed, it results in an instant wipe for the raid. Leaving even one totem will inflict heavy damage to the team, but leaving two or more is catastrophic.

Once you’ve familiarized yourself with these mechanics, the Ahzreil fight becomes easier. Mastering AOEs, blocking the Fury Attacks, and understanding the Fire Totem phase are key to a successful encounter.
