Throne and Liberty developers published a video guide explaining how to level up during the initial stage of the game. The video focuses on quests, codexes and events in the open world.
You can watch here the full video. And below the video you will find the translated summary of the most important points made by mmo13.ru news website.
All quests in the game are divided into several codexes to make it convenient to track progress:
- The codex dedicated to the main story is purple. It is recommended to complete these quests in the first place, because for completing the tasks of this codex you will get valuable rewards, open new locations and full functionality of the game.
- Blue is the “Exploration Codex”, which is dedicated to side quests in certain locations. It contains many quests to kill monsters and find interesting places.
- Yellow is the “Resistance Codex”, which are the action quests in the game. On these quests we will have to kill a huge number of different monsters in the game. For completing the quest, players will receive experience, valuable resources for crafting, and in some cases, equipment. Access to them is available from level 11.
- Green codex is dedicated to guild quests, that are designed to be completed by all members of the guild. Rewards for their completion are given to the guild itself and to each guild member.
Codex collections of Notes and Books are not displayed as quests, so you should be careful during the search. For finding items, players will not only be able to learn about the history of the world, but also get the coins needed to exchange for useful items.
Separately worth mentioning are the open world events. In most cases, you will have to kill monsters in a certain area and give them to a special NPC. But in PvP you can simply hunt other players and knock them out of items. The higher you rank in the event rankings, the more valuable your reward will be. Events can be held in PvP and PvE formats, and judging by the screenshot, PvP events are much more abundant.
Throne and Liberty developers plan to continue releasing such videos aimed at familiarizing users with the game for it’s Korean release on December 7.
