Malakar Boss Mechanics and Attack Guide

Below is a detailed breakdown of Malakar’s attack patterns and the mechanics to watch out for. Knowing these will be crucial for your team’s success.

  • Mechanic: Malakar marks a random player with a red eye above their head and keeps aggro on them.
  • Impact: Malakar will chase this player, and if he reaches melee range, he’ll stomp the ground, dealing significant AOE damage.
  • Strategy: The marked player should kite Malakar away, even if they’re a melee DPS. Staying close can result in heavy damage to them and nearby players.
  • Mechanic: Malakar performs a Fury Attack that targets all players with a powerful ranged strike.
  • Impact: This attack requires a well-timed block, as it cannot be avoided by movement alone.
  • Strategy: Coordinate with your team to block this attack simultaneously. Proper timing is essential to mitigate damage.
  • Mechanic: Malakar launches projectiles at multiple players, which explode upon hitting the ground.
  • Impact: The AOE damage from these bombs is substantial, particularly for players who fail to move away.
  • Strategy: Stay alert for these projectiles and relocate quickly to avoid their landing zones.
  • Mechanic: Malakar teleports to the farthest player, emitting a large blue wave upon arrival.
  • Impact: This attack deals significant damage and stuns everyone caught in the area.
  • Strategy: Watch for Malakar’s teleport and evade the wave as soon as possible.
  • Mechanic: Malakar pulls all players toward him, then hits the ground for heavy AOE damage.
  • Impact: The pull can catch players off guard, leading to dangerous proximity.
  • Strategy: Immediately run away from Malakar to escape the AOE damage radius.
